This year’s festival will feature an eclectic lineup of musicians from various genres, including sacred world music, jazz, classical, folk, and even a concert by plants! Attendees can expect soul-stirring performances that uplift spirits and soothe the soul. 

We believe that music is a universal language that has the power to unite people from all walks of life. Our vision is to create a world-class event that brings together people from around Oakland to celebrate the power of music and promote cultural understanding. 

This event is supported by the City of Oakland, Cultural Funding Program and the Association of Arts Administration Educators through funding from the California Arts Council.

Yes, the festivities on Friday, April 5, 2024, at EastSide Arts Alliance and Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Laney College, will be FREE and open to the public of all Ages. 

Parents and Children are highly encouraged to attend Saturday, activities have been curated to be kid-friendly and perfect for parent bonding! 

However, the Evening Concert in the Odell Johnson Theater will be a Sale Ticket event. Your support will help us continue to invite incredible talent to our beautiful city for years to come!

For Friday’s event, there is public parking available outside the venue, but it is first come first serve, please arrive a few minutes earlier to find parking.
